MbM Photography was created with LOVE ...

It aims to make known the work of the photographer and artist JOÃO CARLOS PIMENTEL ALVES, who developed an excellent innovative, creative and original project that combines two arts: photography and crafts. 

It is a photo applied to various supports (mostly handmade).

It is an author's project, unique, exclusive, which is based on photographs taken by you and which are then inserted in various supports such as ceramics, candles, textiles, postcards, bookmarks, prints, screens, t-shirts, bags and others .

All creations are thought and elaborated with passion, passion for art, craft, for others.

That is why it is moved by and intends to pass messages on topics such as Art, Photography, Positivity, Love, Sustainability and Difference.

It is precisely this last theme that is addressed in the "Porto Windows" Project, in addition to beauty and longing.

The project "Porto Windows" and "Douro Valley" is currently being worked on and others are under development.

"From the perspective of“ all different, all the same ”, I launched the“ Porto Windows ”Project where I intend, on the one hand, to show, through photography applied to crafts, the diversity of windows and tiles that surround them, making architectural beauty unique from Porto.

 On the other hand, to call attention to the cause of Non-Discrimination: just as the windows are all different and show the typical uniqueness of Porto, we are also “all the same in difference” because in essence we all need a tight hug, attention , and happy moments.

Finally, with this I want to pay tribute to my dear Grandfather António Carlos, who always taught me to fight with determination and showed me that “when a door is closed, a window is opened”.

It is, therefore, also a message of hope.
